View Full Version : VSphere Cluster issue
I created two ESX4 hosts in the VMware Workstation 6.5 and using the VCenter4 when I tried to create the cluster, the host is not getting added to the cluster and displays error stating that to enable the Inter VT in the BIOS. In the workstation the ESX server BIOS is not displaying the option and I am unable to add the cluster. Pls help me with some tips.

It is telling you to shutdown your workstation (the physical PC or laptop you are running this on) completely. Power back on, go into the BIOS, and enable VT.
Then boot back into Windows and try this again.
Hopefully I am understanding the issue correctly and this helps out.
All the best to you,
David
Thanks for the reply.
The ESX4 hosts were running successfully in the workstation, but after creating the cluster with the option EVC(Enhanced VMotion compatibilty) enabled, the virtual hosts are not getting added to the cluster, because this option is processor specific. Is there any possiblity to add the host to cluster with EVC option enabled?
