The A+ Comptia exam changed, my question is, is your New release of the A+training focused on the new exam?

The CompTIA A+ certification was actually changed in August 2006. They added two additional elective exams and re-organized and updated the exam coverage. The new CompTIA A+ now consists of an Essentials exam 220-601 which everyone is required to take. Then there are 3 specialized elective exams: 220-602 IT Technician, 220-603 Remote Support Technician and the 220-604 Depot Support Technician. In addition to the Essentials exam one of the three elective exams is required to achieve you’re a+ certification.

The new Train Signal CompTIA A+ training course covers all 4 of these exams.

CompTIA has no plans to make any adjustments to this new renovated certification in the near future. More information can be found at CompTIA’s website:

hi
the new A+ exam numbers are 220-701 amd 220-702 according to the Comptia Website. I would like to know if the current DVDs that are for sale on your website cover these exams?
If not when will new DVDs be available that cover these exams?
thanks

Hi Ashley,
Our current trainings do not cover these new exam objectives, but the 2006 exam 601 and 602, can still be taken until August of 2010. This is why we are still selling them on our site. We hope to have the new CompTIA training by the beginning of 2010.
