FYI

I recently purchased Windows Server 2008 Active Directory (70-640). I am starting to get audio drops from the video while watching the videos. It started after Video 7 and it looks like the other videos are doing it too. I will be watching the video and suddenly the audio is gone. If I use the video scroller and click it to a different area of the track, the audio will come back. It's not a big deal. But it does get annoying.

I'm not able to duplicate this issue on my end. Usually this is an issue with the DVD-ROM not processing the audio and video at the same speed. If you copy the AVI file of the training from the DVD on to your hard drive, does this issue still occur?

I will test it by copying the video to the hard drive tonight.

I am following up to let you know that even after copying the videos to my hard drive does NOT resolve the audio.

It is the same issue mention on thread.

here is one instance where it has happened.

video09 time 29:14

there are several other areas this will happed on the videos..its is usually when he flips between presentation to demonstration and vice versa.

My work around is to use VLC Player but it does not look as nice as Windows Media Player b/c the video will look a little pink. But it is less annoying than the audio drop.
