Server 2008 AD video 1 error in training video?
In this video under initial configuration tcp/ip v6 we are advised to uncheck v6.
To be fair I was configuring SBS2008 not server 2008 SBS will be my main install client.
I did this but found later an issue with exchange 2007 transport service failing to start .
The fix was to enable tcp/ip v6.
I am running Server 2008 R2 as host in a hyper-v environment & sbs 2008 as DC & AD as well as exchange server & probably sql server this is for small businesses & will be run as a virtual operating system for redundancy purposes.
With this setup I can remote desktop support multiple clients with ease.
On another note slow remote desk top issues when moving to R2 seem to be caused by a lower quality yukon onboard NIC switching to an Intel Pro NIC a very expensive NIC seem to resolve the issue. I tried other reported fixes to no avail. Hyper V environments need quality NIC to perform it seems.
