Hi Mr. Ed,

Today I tried Server backup features in R2.

I found some more options in Windows Backup features. In Video 13, Coach instructed windows backup and wbadmin backup in separate topics.

But in Server 2008 R2, the systemstate backup is available in same windows backup option.

Screen shoot is attached to you for your reference.

My question is , Is it enough to use windows backup GUI method instead of using wbadmin for systemstate recovery separately?

Hey Ganesh, the answer to your question is yes, they have added the ability to do System State Backups in Server 2008 R2 straight from the GUI (thank you Microsoft!). You can still do them from the command line, but the GUI will get the job done just fine.

Do you have any offers for educational institutions. If so, kindly send the details.
