Hi coach,

I am big fan of your Training videos. Recently I came across your share point Implementation video.
Found it cool, as i following along on my virtual machines. I got stuck at publishing of Share point site via SSL.
The only difference what I did was , to have a separate virtual machine for ISA, which was joined to the domain.
I am unable to select a certificate for enabling HTTPS on the web listener. I have tried exporting the certificate from Share point server(along with private key) to the ISA sever.
On ISA server I installed the certificate under Microsoft firewall/Personal store.
But it says that the certificate is invalid. Kindly help.

Awaiting your precious reply,
Krishna,

Hi Krishna,

Thanks for your support of Train Signal!

I haven't personally run across the problem so I admit that I don't have an immediate solution....

However, the problem must be related to the certificate itself. Perhaps it isn't the right type of certificate.... Perhaps it isn't installed correctly...

Maybe you could recreate the certificate and look for options as to how it could be created differently...

I will ask around to see if the other instructors have any ideas.

Please keep us posted on how it goes!

Thank you again!

Thanks David for the quick response, yeah you were right it was a certificate issue, I deleted the existing certificate from sharepoint server. Recreated the certificate, put the common name as public url of sharepoint site. Exported the certificate from IIS and imported the same on to ISA server under Local computer->Personal and Trusted Root CA.
Now the certificate is listed as correctly installed.
