Got this in our support box today, thought I'd see if anyone could help out.
I followed your ISA training and successfully blocked EXE and FTP files being accessible, however I would also like to block all video, music and MSI extensions. Thanks.

Here are a couple of posts that show you how to use ISA to block Internet traffic by extension:

On a different Train of thought, if you are using Server 2003 R2 then installing the File Management tools can allow you to stop the user from saving specified file extensions to their home folder. They could still save them to a USB key but that too can be blocked from being used.

Got a response back from the customer saying that now that they have blocked these different file extensions, now no one on the network can access their Hotmail or Yahoo mail. Any ideas on why this happened and/or how to fix it?

I don't know what they blocked exactly but here is a post on how to block Yahoo and Hotmail using ISA. I suspect that if they read it, they might find that they accidentally blocked something required by Yahoo and Hotmail email.

Received another question from this customer. He currently has Windows Media Center on a work laptop and would like to connect it to the domain but that feature is disabled. How/can it be enabled?
