Help Coach or whomever Hyper-V

I need clarification - On Windows Server 2008, how does the DC role work with Hyper-V? I will be deploying a single DC with active directory and would also like to install Hyper-v - so I may run at least one virtual machine. Will my DC have to be on virtual machine also?
