Hello,
I'm looking at purchasing one of the trainsignal products for windows 2008 server, i was just curious if the product is enough to train to pass the exam without the books, or is it to be treated as a compliment to reading the books.

Everything you need to study is included in the Train Signal product. The scenario based training will even take you a step beyond what you would normally find in a book. The Transcender practice exam questions that are included are a big help too.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Lisa,

i just read your info on windows 2008, do i need to purchase any additional books for studying or are the videos more than enough to gain the Certification?

Kind Regards

Lawrence

You can use a book along with our training if that is the way you like to learn, but it is not necessary. All the information you need to learn is contained within the video course and the Transcender practice questions will help you prepare for the exam.

Hi Lisa,

i got my CCNA Certification with the help of Train Signal and Chris Bryant.
These video series are truly awsome and world class to say the least.
I have most of the windows 2008 series but will obtain the outstanding ones
soon. I'm going the the Active Directory one at the moment and Coach Culbertson is fantastic the way he teaches. I will be watching over and over on all of these that's for sure.

Hey LRD.

Ed is in the midst of a free Server Core series right now. You can see the videos that have already been posted on our Windows Server HQ blog (http://windowsserver.trainsignal.com/). Here is a direct link to Ed’s page (http://windowsserver.trainsignal.com/author/ed-liberman). While you are there you can sign up for the RSS feed so you can see the next Server Core stuff the second it is released.

Hope this helps!

Hi Lisa,

that's fantastic news i will take a look at those. These Videos are coming thick and fast but it's best to master one video series at a time and not go through them to quickly. When you watch the video multiple times, something that you may have not understood the first or even the second time will eventually fall into place.
