Small Business Server with our without CAL’s

Why does SBS cost more with CAL’s then without. I don’t even know what CAL’s are.

CALs are client access licenses. You will need these if you decide that you will have clients connecting to the Small Business Server (clients I mean other workstations such as Windows XP). When you purchase SBS 2003 Standard Edition and select CALs option you will get 5 of these client licenses that you can setup right away.
