Hi there,

"Coach" is an excellent tutor, I have thoroughly enjoyed going through his tutorials and explains everything extremely well.

I am currently trying to document my new network structure, however, it's looking a bit dull.

How can I get all the icons which coach uses in his presentation files (notes.pdf) and if at all possible, could I acquire them?

Thanks very much,

Gabi.

Microsoft Visio is great for making network diagrams. That is what Coach uses.

Hi,

I use visio too,

However, if you look at his presentations, say for instance on AD 2008, you can see he has some "vista" style glossy icons of the folders and Users..... that's what I am looking for.....

Actually, I don't use Visio that much for my courses, because the icons are so 20th century. Here's where I pull my icons from for the courses:

The rest I grab from PowerPoint's clip art or build myself. Also do a google search for Vista style icons.

Coach,

That's great.

I can't appreciate your help enough, I am still working through your tutorials.

Having such a nightmare at my work, it's such a mess and I have decided to start from scratch, however, on a 2003 network, as some of the machines would not cope with 2008 and as always, budget limitations.

We have one server doing everything and anything.

Just doing all my diagrams now.

Thanks ever so much,

Gabi.

Coach,

Just wondering why the sub offices are split into subdomains as they would have sufficed under a single domain?

I have a similar scenario, but unsure whether to do it as a single domain or not, I think your tutorial 17 confused me a bit, global/universal/local groups :)

Thanks,

Gabi.
