My CCNA cert. is due to expire in about 6 months. Looking for opinions if it would be less difficult to take either the CCNA Wireless or Security as opposed to trying to pass a CCNP exam. I'm trying to determine if for example the BCSI exam for CCNP is much more difficult than a CCNA specialty exam.
Thanks

That is a great question!
If you start now you can safely study for and pass the BSCI in the time before your CCNA expires. It will take you even less times if you are already very strong in routing. However, the CCNA Concentration exams (wireless, security, voice) will generally take someone less time than the BSCI.
This is a decision you will have to make based on your career goals and interests. Are you planning on getting CCNP eventually anyway? Do you need to be an expert in something like wireless or more likely security?
If you are just looking for “easier” then check out our great new training for CCNA Security (http://www.trainsignal.com/Cisco-CCNA-Security-P61.aspx). You will see that there are less hours involved then our BSCI training (http://www.trainsignal.com/Cisco-BSCI-Training-P4.aspx).

How thorough is your CCNA Security training videos? Will I need to purchase any other training material in addition to the Chris Bryant CCNA Security DVD's to pass the test?
Thanks

Hey Clifton!
It really is just like our website says “Complete Exam Coverage.” Chris Bryant is VERY knowledgeable. He will get you prepared for the exam. This course also comes with the Transcender exam prep software for CCNA Security. Transcender has practice exam questions that give through explanations of why an answer is correct (or incorrect). I personally find Transender very helpful. The combination of our videos and their practice questions should leave you feeling very confident on test day!
Good luck!
