Extend AD Schema

I am almost done for all the video training CD for 2003 server, is the video tell you how to extend AD Schema??

The reasons why is that we have a lot of home grow applications which need to use attribute. So we need to extend the Schema.

I have tried to find at GOOGLE or Mircosoft, but it is not really what I want it.

What I want to is that create extract TAB at the "user properties". Is anyone able to point to a right documentation??
