Hi there,
The videos provided do not play on OSX.
Tried running them on quicktime, with the relevant extension, no luck.
Tried running on VLC, sound comes out fine, video plays, but it flickers all the time.
Is there any special codecs or anything I should be running?
Thanks,
Gabi.

Have a look at the following link and see if that helps. Post back if it doesn't. http://download.trainsignal.com/help/help.html

You could also try add the KLite CODEC Pack and see if that works also. klcodec442f.exe. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm)
I have no idea if it will work on a Mac as I is Mac ignorant  and will be for a while yet. Had to look up what VLC meant.
There have been some problems with the VLC player when trying to play some files encoded in the TSCC codec as our courses are. This problem appeared in Release 0.9.4 but has since been remedied. Check to see which version you're running and even if it isn't 0.9.4 go to http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html and download a different version.
Thanks,
Zach

Hi there,
Thanks for replying.
I have the latest one downloaded.
No luck, downloaded a different version, issue is still there.
Will carry on playing around.
Thanks,
Gabi,

This also happens on the x86 VLC player.
Will carry on looking.
Hey Gabi:
Here is another open source player that will play the videos:

Let me know if you have less than satisfactory results :)
Thanks,
Zach

Hi Zach,
Thanks, will give that a go.
It's a shame it does not play on VLC, that is truly a great player, this is the first time it has failed playing something on me :(
Oh well,
Looking forward to receiving the new lessons, they should be great on my iPhone too, 1.5 hours of commuting either way is boring!!!
Thanks very much,
Gabi.
