Hello,

I already bought and watched Exchange Server 2007 training. But I can’t find any solution on the scenario that I have to configure the exchange server.

I have a strange scenario that I have to use the same SMTP (reply email) for all users in Exchange 2007 server.

The external account is external@company1.com

i have POPGrabber software that is downloads email from the above account and its forwarding to one distribution list.
All users members of the distribution list are receiving the mails coming from external@company1.com
Up to here everything is working fine.

But the problem is that i have to set the "reply email" for exchange users to the external: external@company1.com

Is that possible to be done? i can set this for one user but not for more. I'm getting that the SMTP address is already exist.

Customer wants to have one central mail and any user sending new emails or replying the from has to be from the above external email address so they don't have to select each time from the "From" field in MS Outlook.

Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

The natural solution to accomplish your goal is to use the Address rewrite agent:

Hopefully you have an Edge role server deployed, since that's a requirement for this to be used. I don't think you can use a Transport rule to accomplish this task.
