Hi,
I'm familiar with computers (pc and mac) (currently running a mac and love it!) and looking to start a career in this field. I'm interested in networking, or at least over the last couple years, it's seem to have gotten my interest peeked. I've also found that jobs tend to pay more for networking.
So I guess my question is, Should I start with the very basic's like Comptia A +
or would the comptTIA Networking be simple enough for someone with some "familiarity" of computers.
If there might be another course that would fit me better, I'm open to suggestions. I just want to make sure I can understand it and I'm able to pass the exam when that time comes.
My plans for the near future are : become certified and after doing so, getting a entry level position with maybe geek squad, circuit city (fire???something) etc.. get experience and then
start applying to larger companies (with my certification and experience)
any help would make my day.
Thanks
AJ
