Is there really that big of a difference between ESX 3.0 and 3.5.

Really, the difference between 3.5 and 3.0.2 is NOT like Win 2003 and Win 2008. Its more like XP and XP SP2. In fact, they were originally calling 3.5 “version 3.0.3” – that shows how few features it has. I guess that they figured they had more features than just a SP would have so they called it 3.5. In fact at VMworld Europe last week (according to all the press I have read), VMware didn’t even spend much time on 3.5.

Does your training video cover 3.5?

We did do a video on the differences that 3.5 offers. I demoed most of the new 3.5 features and the new 3i. I don’t recall how long that video was but I would guess that it was about 45 min.
