CCENT and ICND2 are components of the CCNA.
There are two routes people can take to get a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.
Just take the 640-802 exam. This covers all the topics from CCENT and ICND2.
If you are planning the all in one method then check out our complete CCNA training course (http://www.trainsignal.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=35).
Get CCENT(Cisco Certified Entry Level Network Technician)certified first. You can take the 640-822 ICND1 entry level test first. Then if you want to upgrade your CCENT certification to a CCNA, you can study and take the 640-816 ICND2 test at a later date. (The ICND2 alone does not get you any certification.) Once you have passed both you are a CCNA! This method is nice because you don’t have to retain everything for both tests at one time.
CCENT training can be found here. (http://www.trainsignal.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=91)
ICDN2 training can be found here. (http://www.trainsignal.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=103)
Many of Cisco’s higher certifications have prerequisites. Others do not.
