I have a 2003 Standard Server that will be in a DMZ on a Checkpoint Firewall and another 2003 Server that will be in the LAN of the same Firewall.
The Server in the DMZ will be running a Web-Engine that will get encrypted information from an online Web Server hosted by Sage Software. Once this data comes into the Server in the DMZ, it will then need to be sent to the Server on the LAN. The Server on the LAN is running a MAS90 accounting system that this information will run into.
I need recommedations on protecting both these servers with the scenario given. I especially need some idea's on securing the traffic from the DMZ to the LAN. Should I use certificates and if so, how? Should the Server in the DMZ be on its own workgroup or domain or what?
Thanks,
ME
