Hey gang, just a quick note about the course I'm working on that should be released relatively soon. It's the Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Infrastructure course, and it's a perfect entry point for folks who are new to Windows Server.
I've written the course to start out with the basics, and then I work up to more advanced concepts as we build on what you learned in previous videos. More advanced folks will get a solid review, but will also pick up the new stuff that Microsoft crammed into the Server.
Here's a few highlights about what's going in to the course right now:
Creating a Batch Script to easily create User accounts
Active Directory Integrated Zones
What a Global Catalog is and Why You Should Care
Read-Only Domain Controllers--In a Full Server 2008 Installation AND in Server Core!!!
The New Finely Grained Password Policies!
What?! You mean Active Directory is now a Restartable Service?
There's a lot more than that, but there's at least some highlights for ya. And if some of the words sound like a foreign language to you, don't sweat it, after viewing the course you'll know exactly what they are AND how to use them!
