Exchange 2007 - Confirming TLS

Hi All,

In your Exchange 2007 Training Video David mentions that one can confirm TLS is by telneting into the Edge Server and type HELO and look for the STARTTLS. I went to "EdgeSync - Default-First-Site-Name to Internet" connector and went to the Network tab and unchecked "Enable Domain Security (Mutal Auth TLS)". I did a Start-EdgeSynchronization and did a Test-EdgeSynchronization and confirm synch as well went onto the Edge Server and confirm the change as well there. When I telnet to the Edge Server and do an HELO I still see the STARTTLS. What can I be doing wrong?

Technically the STARTTLS message should usually be there if there's a valid cert enabled for SMTP on the Edge, regardless of whether Domain Security is enabled. I may have mixed that up on the video.
