Hello All,
In the Exchange 2007 Training Video David did not show how the visual steps when he created the receive connector "FromOutside". My impression was that it was created when there was a problem in updating the Default receive connector, he was unable to change the field "Specify the FQDN that this connector will provide in response to HELO or EHLO". He did at first set the allow Anonymous Users. I was able to do change it on my test invironment and therefore alter the Default to receive mail from the outside.
My question is what is the best practice if there is no edge server and therefore you have to use the Hub Transport? Do you modify the Default Receive Connector or should you create a new receive connector to keep things separate?
I also had the problem that when I created the new receive connector that I was not able to specify to use all available local IP addresses. Why is that?
Thanks
Carlos
