Exchange 2007 and SAN/UCC Cert

Hi All,

Trying to get a better understanding on SAN/UCC Cert.

If I am installing the CA Role and Hub Role on individual servers will I require separate cert or will a single SAN/UCC Cert still work on both servers?

I do understand I will need to apply SSL on both if I want secure all trafic, the Hub Transport Role since it has the SMTP service and the CA Role has the IMAP, POP, WEB services.

A single cert will cover you for both servers. Just make sure to include the internal names of both servers in the SAN cert when you create it.
